Le Centre de recherche des études littéraires et culturelles sur la planétarité (CELCP) examine les intersections conceptuelles, narratives et historiques entre les diverses notions du globe, du monde et de la planète. Le CELCP participe à des projets de recherche qui vont au-delà des discours et des récits reçus de mondialisation et de globalisme pour mettre l’accent sur de nouveaux moyens interdisciplinaires qui envisagent la planète comme une catégorie épistémologique et esthétique de production de connaissances et de critique. Le CELCP se propose d’étudier la pensée planétaire comme une approche éthique qui conteste les modèles exclusifs d’interprétation du monde, et favorise des interrogations interdisciplinaires sur l’émergence et l’articulation de nouveaux universaux non coercitifs.

The Research Center for Planetary Literary and Cultural Studies (CELCP) investigates the conceptual, narrative and historical intersections and differences between various notions of the globe, the world, and the planet. The CELCP engages in research projects that move beyond received discourses and narratives of cultural globalization and globalism and emphasizes new and interdisciplinary ways in which to think the planet as an epistemological and aesthetic category of knowledge production and critique. The CELCP proposes to study the planetary thought as an ethical approach that contests the limitations of received hegemonic universals and invites interdisciplinary speculations about the emergence and articulation of new and non-coercive universals.
